Last month my artwork, Sun Kissed Hills, graced the cover of Boise Weekly! If you aren't familiar, each week Boise Weekly publishes original artwork by a local artist on its cover. One stipulation of publication is that the piece must be donated to Boise Weekly’s annual art auction in the fall. A portion of the proceeds from the auction are reinvested in the local arts community through a series of private grants for which all artists are eligible to apply. The artist retains 30% of the final auction price.

This year, the Cover Art Auction will be held at the Visual Arts Collective in Garden City on October 2 from 5-9:30 pm. There is a $20 entrance fee which will go towards your bid. If you are interested in bidding on my piece or any of the featured artwork, you can start bidding now. A preview is being held at Evermore Prints during the month of September.
